I had a great phone conversation with good friend from Prince Edward Island with whom I thought I’d lost contact. One of life’s greatest pleasures is having friends & one of life’s greatest joys is being able to reconnect with old friend! S’up Karl?

And speaking of old friends… way, way back, back when the’back-to-the-landers’, the ‘rubber-booters’, otherwise known as hippies, migrated to Prince Edward Island, I had a friend who moved back to Saskatchewan to pursue his writing & playwriting talents. Recently while was trying to locate the artists & type of artists in Saskatchewan on Google … & came across the name of Rod MacIntyre, a playwright & author … & the very person I knew back on PEI. So I emailed him immediately & about 20 minutes later I received a reply & I’ll quote; “I thought I saw you at the Co-op the other day, but quickly put it out of my mind — what would YOU be doing here? I too live in La Ronge these days … ” but couldn’t believe I’d be living in northern Saskatchewan. Way, way up north! Well, to make a long story short we going to get together once he gets back from his book launch & have a few games of pool & catch up.

Oh ya … I beginning to form a small pool league / pool night. Found a location where there’s a couple of tables … had to get the place ramped first, of course! That makes 6 so far.
