Finally back home in Commercial Cross, PEI after a grand trip across from Saskatchewan. Canada, eh? What a country!
We’ve been cleaning & painting the house since our return so a lot our boxes haven’t been unpacked yet. Finally got the lift put in yesterday so I was able to have a much needed shower.I got so skanky even the dogs wouldn’t come near me.
So nice to be active physically inspite of the extreme pain … just have to “suck it it up” ; “bite the bullet” or more appropriately “Cowboy up!”
First thing I did when we arrived was to cheek my pool table in the shop / studio … a nice perfect top! Need to get the stored shelving & furniture out there & back into the house. ASAP
Haven’t been able to connect up to the Internet though so this wee blog has been sadly neglected. Went through a lot of testing, tips & suggestions from a friend & our ISP support people but no luck! Dialup seemed an impossibility on both of our computers. … the ISP support folks eventually decided it had to be the phone connections. Can you say “Internet withdrawals” ? The finally solution came about after checking the firewall configuration & the WiFi & LAN configurations. Even though Pam’s system uses an external unit our common configuration was that we both had WiFi setup for our apartment up north. With mine I just had to remove it from the system config files … Pam’s however will be a little more challenging but at least I now have Google to help find the solution.
Here’s a couple of the 1st images that we encountered as we entered the ‘Garden Isle’

Well, wish me luck for today …
