Well we’ve moved again … Not really a surprise for a lot of folks who know us & not really much of a surprise for most to find out we’re back in LA (La Ronge, SK) It’s great to be here …. again.
We left the Island in early June & once again drove across this great country …
A look back at the Island ...
We’ve been here a little over a month now …Pam has started her job & our deal will close in a couple of weeks. I am still recovering from the move & am catching up with a bit of R&R as well as checking out what will need attention with the house. And what will need to be done to make this into an accessible home.

Temporary ramp needs to be raised & a landing created … so I don’t go flying off the steps & create another style of ‘landing’.
looks like something even Evil Knievel wouldn't tackle.
Our house is made from ‘dressed’ upright octagonal logs with a tongue & groove assembly. Each log is flattened & grooved to allow the tongue to connect the logs. If look closely at the flowers you will see the purple lupins on the left … a little Island reminder. Eh?

The backyard has a very nice garden with an area for vegetable, etc. There are also 2 apple tree, a raspberry, strawberry & Saskatoon berry patches & a large garden shed. A great yard for Molly & Chesney to wander & enjoy all those new smells … cats, squirrels, etc. And to nibble on a few raspberries.

And while the basement’s not what we’d call a ‘rec’ room as you can see it’s had a bit of work done to it …
... soon to be a pool room! great eh?
… anyone looking for a bar? We’re selling this one. “We don’t serve no stinkin’ drinks in this pool hall!” 
You’ll have to make do with beer or straight-up drinks here!
The area of LA we’re in this time has pavement & sidewalks, albeit no curb-cuts . But hey … it’s early yet! It’s close to both the supermarket, library, etc. There are definitely some gravel streets close by. Molly & I pass this one on the way to the library.

Well should post this & get working on the next one. This one was a long time coming but it seems the writer’s block is broken.
