“The only difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to be credible. – Mark Twain”
This is the street connects La Ronge St. with the highway. The town hall & library are just down the road on the right … just up the gravel street. Oh ya … this is also the street that separates the older part of town with the new. In other words the ‘burbs!
And here’s a few photos of ‘burbs were we are now living. The one is of the main ‘drag’ in this ‘paved’ residential area of LA. It’s one block east of our place & regular part of the route Molly, The Princess Chihuahua & I do almost daily.
And if you turn your head & look to the right there is a park & playground with 2 baseball fields & a pair of soccer posts. Haven’t seen any men’s ball happening but there is a women’s league that’s plays here regularly … but there seems to be a woman’s tournament going on today. Perhaps Molly & I’ll go down to watch some baseball.
The LA airport is a couple of kilometeres to the north … not the LAX but it can cerainly handle the big bush planes & water bombers.
Planes fly over quite heavily here when there’s forest fires in this area. Sounds like the WWII London bombing blitz or at least what I imagine it would sound like without the bombs going off. ![]()
Here’s a couple of other photos near our house.
And downtown LA … the main street AKA La Ronge Street
