The weather here is still quite cold … hovering around the -30°C mark … cold enough for the heavy clothing to come out for us And especially for the dogs! Chihuahuas are not really suited for this weather & especially their tiny feet!
I recently purchased a set of boots called MuttLuks for Molly whose feet are quite sensitive to the cold & getting frost bitten … as you can see not fashionable but certainly effective!

Although the little fellow Chesney is ‘paper- trained’ he does like to go out with Molly … for that second or two it takes them to do complete their routine! Both dogs are carried to & from ‘the spot’ otherwise they’d never make it. And this is another major reason for our leaving this wonderful place …

That’s a pretty cute picture. I’ve often thought about the MuttLuks… with the cold this past week, Oban never puts all fours on the ground when she’s outside. I wonder if the other dogs in the neighbourhood would make fun of her if I got her some? Hmm…. I may try it! It could be just what she needs.

If Molly could swear I know she’d swear by the MuttLuks … nice to see her walking on all fours in this -30°C weather we’re having.
Oban will definitely thank you in spite of the neighbourhood mutts ribbing! 😉 Go for it. The folks at MuttLuks are really nice to deal with & their webpage even has a sizing chart …
